todays Tech rant
Topic: general rant/rave
http://thehill.com/blogs/hillicon-valley/technology/144485-reps-barrow-rogers-want-fcc-to-investigate-wi-spy#thecomments-form-message

The Fox shall CERTAINLY investigate the hen house robberies...collect dead hens, bags of feathers for evidence, then prosecute the Farmer for leaving the gate open.

Two CONgressmen (emphasis on "con") "asking" FCC to investigate gOogle (emphasis on "Oogle").

My comments (from someone who can design all this equipment and the systems too)
--------------------------
" Two items should be of prime importance:

1.) Googles activities that are a TERRORIST RISK. Its GREAT to have all this data available to plan TERRORIST ATTACKS. They dont have to show up in person, just download Googs Street Views and know where to PARK THE VAN.

2.) Goog should be exposed and prosecuted for MASS IDENTITY THEFT and MASS ILLEGAL WIRETAPPING/ EAVESDROPPING.

The fact (if it be so) that theyre doing it for NSA or some other Fed Agency notwithstanding  "
---------------------

Then consider this about the super spy network:

1.) start with sat data showing your front yard down to 1/10th of an inch
2.) Street view to show, up close what the Sats cant see, since theyre overhead
3.) then the extremely high resolution photos theyre taking INSIDE YOUR HOUSE with the CAMERA IN YOUR CELL PHONE. And the inside of every-where ELSE you go, talking on the phone or not. And not only every "where", but every "one"...

...which is why my phone has no camera. Put electrical tape over yours.

Its too easy, and profitable, for an Agency like NSA to pay off Verizon or ATT etc to capture images and audio from your phone. Its a microphone and camera tied to an all digital network that they can turn on and off at will. With a 3 MP imager and the right image processing software, they can tell what nap the roller was that painted the walls in your house.

The three participants:

a.) you, unknowing and unwilling
b) the phone co. whos getting paid from Govt deep pockets for their covert activities
c.) the Feds paying them with YOUR MONEY.

It's too easy to capture data from your phone and have it never show up on your phone bill, they can easily route the charges to some Fed account.

All this honest and above board activity by your Government which, Im told, previously brought you covert programs like Dial/Coins, a scheme to keep bouncing illegal files around the internet. That came from a fmr Agent, not some conspiracy website.

Sure, the premise that they can use all this technology to prevent terrorist attacks sounds great, but they cant - they couldnt catch cold on a rainy day (did they stop OKC or 9-11 or the NYC "bomber? F-no, they let him on a PLANE)- and its all well and good till they mistakenly pin it on YOU, they YOU have to prove innocence...Its too easy to paint YOUR face on a bank robbers body in a bank camera video, and as poor quality as the videos are, no way to prove it was a forgery. Just ask yourself- "why does JP Morgan bank, with trillions of dollars lying around, still use antiquated, low resolution cameras that produce crappy quality, grainy, washed-out video? Think they cant afford good cameras in an era when sats can resolve 1/10th of an inch from space? Hell no, they dont care if a bank robber takes YOUR money, its not THEIRS and THEY are INSURED.

And for anyone foolish enough to believe in passwords and 256-bit encryption, the Feds have all the keys. No one is permitted to generate secured software unless they turn the keys over to your gubmint. Which is why their panties got rolled into a bunch with Wiki Leaks. Ol' WL apparently didnt see fit to give them the keys.

Just remember their motto- "Were the Government, were here to help"
