Let me analyse the outright LIES here from the Tri City Herald that I just received in re their refusal to publsh a LTE on KNDUs deliberate bias and misinformation regarding ILLEGAL MEXICANS.
Heres the response I just received from them, followed by analysis by someone who knows Federaly Licensed Broadcast Stations like the back of my hand, (me) including the laws and contracts they operate by.
Analysis by law, business and FACT, not "FEELINGS" which are al the TCH can cite.
And before reading this disgrace of a response from a biased Paper, realize that Bobs last LTE about the local hospital system was one they REFUSED to publish until some "influential local Citizens leaned on them" (paraphrased, but you get the point)
you see, when the Media is in bed with local Govt and Corporations instead of taking any interest in the affairs and rights of the PEOPLE, this kind of CORRUPTION is the result.

In re. KNDUs interviw of Jim Hazen, Broetje farm manager, in the video "Migrant workers vital to the economy" who was attempting to use semantic infiltration to redefine Illegal Aliens as "migrants" where the meaning of "migrant" was subtly changed to 'not moving" or a local context, implying that since they lived in 'permanent housing' they were no longer "migrants."
"Migrant" refers to travel from Mexico to the US within the scope of Immigration Law, and is not subject to subversive redefinition for PROFITING IN MEXICAN SLAVE TRADE. That's substantially what it is; If they are not Illegal aliens, then pay them enough to afford to live like the rest of us.
This is a subversive attempt at selling the idea of "amnesty for criminal aliens," to normalize criminal activity.
This is a similar lie to "the economy cannot survive without illegal aliens working for peanuts." Good for HIS economy, yes, but an economic disaster for the United States.
Jim, I'll think of you next time I hear of "migrant crime."
This deceitful Media is'nt in the interest of the viewing Public for which KNDU's broadcast license is issued. Off to file a complaint against their broadcast license with the FCC!

And now, the insightful and sometime inciteful analysis by an EXPERT, not someone peddling a Left Wing bias.
1.) The issue is a TV station, KNDU, broadcasting DELIBERATELY misleading, unbalanced and biased "news" which intended to mislead people into agreeing with Amnesty for Criminal Aliens. After all, thats what it all boils down to. The Left (soon to be the Left Behind) are desperate to stay in power, and theyll do ANYTHING including violate law to stay there.
All TV and Radio stations in the US, except for some low power or "pirate" stations" are Federally Licensed under CFR 47 (commonly called FCC Law). Much/most of this Law comes from/after International Treaties on the use of airwaves.
The Station is granted broadcast authority under FCC to SERVE THE PUBLIC INTEREST, NOT THEIR OWN OR OF THEIR ADVERTISERS.
Newspapers, on the other hand, are not under such laws and therefore, and thereafter, are free to sink to the bottom of the cesspool as has the TCH.
Broadcast stations can LOSE THEIR LICENSES for pulling such shennanigans. Expecially if people compiain, as hopefully you will over this kind of deliberate violation fo their grant of License.
2.) I sent a Letter to the Editor of the TCH and they refused to publish it, citing the following excuses:
a.) "Thanks for your letter but I’m sorry it is our policy not to publish letters that we feel"
"Feel" is the usual excuse Liberals use when they have no grounds to argue on. NO ONE in a legitimate Management process relies on "feel" especially, for example, in the age of ISO Certification, where management process is carefully documented based on meaningful metrics of business operation and success.
'Feel?" I dont FEEL like reading the Herald because its obviously and plainly BIASED towards the whacko Left. As above, Bob related to me that they tried to cover up his LTE regarding the hospitals (despite the fact hes an absolute EXPERT on the subject) until some prominent locals let them know that wasnt acceptable.
b.) "expose only one side of" This is the Media game, create DIVISION to have sides to exploit, When the issue is crystal clear, they dont want to hear it, because they cant employ their divide and conquer game. I AM an expert on the subject and no one likes an expert exposing the lies and deceit.
Arent most LTEs discussing ONE SIDE of an issue? Dont THEY usually have a lop-sided view on things?
c.) "personal, legal, or business matter"
Personal? No, under Federal Law, ITS A PUBLIC MATTER just as the TV stations license renewal is partly based on PUBLIC COMMENT during the Comment Period before re-issue of the License.
d.) "We cannot undertake the kind of investigation"
When there are TWO excuses, we know alls rotten is not in Denmark. Why dont they have the time? Who says itll take much more "time" than viewing the KNDU video? I can explain the Federal Law to them in a few minutes.
REAL newspapers and TV stations like those in Denver can find the "time."

Bald faced lie. Threre was NO mention in my LTE of any personal angle except being a member of the Viewing Public seeing deliberately misleading reporting on a PUBLIC BROADCAST STATION.
Lies, on top of lies to cover up the illegal activities of local Farms to hire CRIMINAL ALIENS.
PS Notice I mentioned "laws and contracts" in re a broadcast station. Realise that TV and radio stations live and die on advertiser dollars and what advertisers DO NOT want to hear is that We the People dont want to view/listen to the media outlet in question.
